Officer Elections:

Vice President -  Katie Bryan, Jennifer Harris
One of the primary responsibilities of the VP is to work with the house on maintenance issues.  This is no small task!!!

Treasurer- Rebecca Brown

Additional Board Member- Kitty Decker
The BOD is still being defined as well as figuring out roles and responsibilities.  The group felt that having another representative to provide input on policies would be beneficial.

The following members will continue to serve another year term:

Secretary-  Tammy Murray and Stacy Sarault

Thanks to Allison Magner and Jessi Lemming for all of their hard work over the last couple years!! Welcome new board members!!

Alumni Board: Courtney Garretson, Leti Roman, Bethanny Mavronicles (will also work on alum web site), Megan Sosnowski, Laurie Baker, Jessi Lemming, Annie Cloncs

Upcoming Board Activities:

The main functions of the BOD are to ensure the financial integrity of the house and oversee policies and procedures.  The BOD body is still fairly new.  There are many policies and procedures to be established (maintenance, contracts, grades etc).

Alumni Social Activities:

Trying to involve Alumni in Shoemaker is a busy job.  That is why it was decided to have a separate group of alums to work on this initiative.  Some of the items this group will be working on are developing an Alumni Organization structure, social activities, possible fundraising, and communications.  The Alumni Board is separate from the BOD. 

Attendance:

There was a great attendance. More than 30 alums attended the meeting.  Thanks to everyone who could attend and for those of you who couldnt, we look forward to seeing you at the next Alumni function!
